Terms of Service

These terms govern the managed SSLert service at https://sslert.com (“the Service”). Contact: support@sslert.com.

The service

SSLert provides managed SSL certificate expiry monitoring: we periodically perform TLS handshakes against hostnames you add and send alerts on configured channels when expiry thresholds are crossed.

Monitoring is best-effort. We do not warrant that every expiry will be detected or that every alert will be delivered. Incidents are disclosed on the status page.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the hostnames you ask us to check. Do not add hosts you are not authorised to monitor.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan is $0 and is limited as described on the pricing page (currently 10 domains, daily checks, email alerts).
• Pro is a paid subscription: $15 per month or $150 per year. Yearly is prepaid (10 × monthly — two months free). Access lasts until the current period end stored on the subscription.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• These pages do not offer an unlimited lifetime licence.
• Cancel any time; paid access continues until the end of the prepaid period.

Acceptable use

No scanning of third-party infrastructure without authorisation, no abuse of alert channels, and no attempt to disrupt the Service. We may suspend accounts that violate this.

Self-hosted software

The open-source SSLert codebase is licensed under AGPL v3. These terms apply to the hosted Service, not to software you run yourself.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed expiries, failed alerts, downtime, or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you still apply.
